If you like flavored lubricants, there are a lot of really great choices. We have gone way beyond the strawberry or grape to much more sophisticated flavors. For example, check out our taste test of Gelatto flavored lubes.

Wet (Trigg Laboratories) has been around a long time. This year they celebrate their 30th anniversary. Over the years we have found them to be a reliable producer of lubricants with a very wide selection of products.

Not surprisingly, they have been making flavored lubes for a very long time. They have jumped into the fancier flavors with their Desserts line, which we hope to get our hands on for a full taste test when we go to the Las Vegas Adult Entertainment Expo in January.

They have a regular line of flavored lubes that they change up quite a bit. It is actually two lines. Unlike Wet Flavored, Wet Fun Flavors heat on contact and warm with motion. Like other warming lubes, they also get warmer when you blow on them. They are all sugar free so safe for vaginal use. They have normal flavors like cherry and strawberry, but I like to get a little fancier with flavored lubes. We tested the Raspberry Pomegranate, the Passion Fruit Punch, and the Watermelon.

They are water soluble and easy to clean up. I had no problems with staining. They are latex compatible. They recommend them also for massage, but massage oil is much better. This is fun for applying to bits and licking it off, but it would result in a pretty sticky mess for a body massage.

As seems to often be the case with flavored lubes, they can get a little sticky when they dry, but since they are primarily for oral sex, this is not really an issue. Your saliva is more than enough to keep them hydrated. When going from oral sex to intercourse, our feedback was very positive in that the lube provided extra stimulation and lasted long enough. Obviously, this is not the lube for handjobs and masturbation as there are many better less tasty options for that.

The clear favorite was the Raspberry Pomegranate. One tester liked pomegranate but hated raspberry (it takes all kinds) so they did not care for it, but it was a hit with everyone else. One person found them a little kool-aid like, but they liked that about them. The watermelon scored not as high, and passion fruit punch was somewhere in the middle.

The three products to the right above all have the brand new packaging. The Raspberry Pomegranate does not, which indicates that it has probably been discontinued for 2019. It is still widely available from stores and on Amazon.

The name Passion Fruit Punch is a little confusing as it is not passion fruit but a passionate fruit punch with hints of cherry, strawberry, grape, cherry and orange. The hints are very subtle and it is difficult to tease out the different flavors and although we did not try this in our testing, I suspect no one could identify what it was from a taste test. It is fruity.

We had a smaller sample size so this is not as definitive a ranking. Overall, though, the Raspberry Pomegranate had the more complex and interesting flavor profile. We did not try the Tropical Fruit Explosion, but pina colada type flavors have scored high in general in our previous testings.

Because taste is so individual,, we always recommend that with flavored lubes you try to find a local adult store that has testers or samplers. The pillow packs in a variety of flavors would make an excellent stocking stuffer.

These are not their most daring creations (I think their donut flavored lube called Unicorn Spit wins there), but fit solidly within the realm of flavored lubes.
