Wondercon – A Convention of Wonders

Wondercon is not technically an erotic event, but it can be a sexy event, in a hard PG-13 way.  This year it is back in Anaheim, California, and runs from March 31st to April 2nd. We won’t be going this year, but we did go last year, and you can read all about it. It is the sister show to the famous San Diego Comic-Con, but a large show in its own right.

One of the new things this year that we really could have used last year is the Cosplay repair Station. Kris went in her Batgirl costume, and the zipper on her latex catsuit broke at the show. She had to wear a Batgirl t-shirt over it or it would have been an x-rated costume.

This year has some very cool speakers, including legendary Mad Magazine cartoonist Sergio Aragones, in depth discussions of your favorite fantasy and science fiction television shows, movies, and books,  the FemMagnime fique panel,

Things that might be of specific interest to our readers include the CosPositive: Cosplay with Confidence which focuses on positive body image, A panel by the Comic Books Legal Defense Fund, which has been fighting censorship in comics for a century, Queer Comics at the Crossroads, Queering Comics, Queers Comics and Social Justice, Rainbow Magic: LGBTQ Disney Fandom, and State of Censorship 2017.

For me, the highlight is the sexy cosplay outfits. They showcase both sexiness and creativity, and you can see them both in the costume contest and across the exhibit hall with the attending cosplay fans.
