This was inspired by the Howling Man episode of the 1960s Twilight Zone television series. In it, Satan has been trapped behind a door, until he dupes a young man into releasing him.

This is an actual door that has had a hole cut in it. Bars made from silver painted dowels were placed in the hole, and it was trimmed with metal tape. The chains are the plastic types you can find at Halloween stores, and they are hanging on nails in the door. On the other side of the door, a head is stuck on a broom which is propped up on a stool to bring it to the right height.
