Nude and Erotic Calendars 2020

Nude calendars have been around since the early 1900s. The first documented nude calendar was printed in 1913. You can learn the fascinating story behind the painting used on that calendar by visiting the Journalism Department at CenterSEE’s Erotic University. Go to the office and click on the calendar on the wall (your browser must have Flash installed).

Throughout the 1900s, most sexy calendars were of the pin-up type. They were often tied in with advertising. The most famous were the calendars from the Pirelli tire company. Beginning in 1964, they were valued giveaways to important Pirelli customers. Discontinued ten years later, they would return again after another ten years. While they have moved on from the nudity, if you would like to relive the years past, you might want to check out the book,  Pirelli – The Calendar: 50 Years and More by Phillipe Daverio.

Commercial nude calendars continue to be popular, and they are available from many sources. These include Bud Plant’s Art Books, where you can find a a selection of 27 different calendars, although most focus on sexy and not nudity. Vintage Burlesque 2020 has no nudity but does feature cabaret costumes, scantily clad chorus girls and burlesque dancers. Lingerie by Johnny Crosslin 2020 also has no nudity, but that is sort of the point of a lingerie calendar. Fans of lingerie but not nudity might also enjoy Lingerie Provocative 2020.

If pin-ups are your cup of tea, there are collections featuring artists such as Fritz Willis and Gil Elvgren. Check out Retro Pin-Ups 2020The Art of Olivia Featuring Betty Page 2020, Pin-Up History 2020 and Pin-Up Girls by Gil Elvgren 2020.

If naked is what you are looking for, Bud Plant also has Mystique X-Posed 2020, Naked 2020, and Hot Naked Girls 2020. For those interested in the back side, you might want to check out Derrieres 2020 and Hot Buns 2020. If you like two girls together, Best Girlfriends Undressed 2020 may be to your taste.

One of the classic calendars is the one from Playboy. They published their first for the year 1958. This year’s edition features 12 Playmates of the past two years (Kirby Griffin, Vendela, Megan Moore, Geena Rocero, Abigail O’Neill, Miki Hamano, Yoli Lara, Teela LaRoux, Fo Porter, Olga de Mar, Sophie O’Neil, Jordan Emanuel).

You would expect Calendars.com  to have a good selection, and they do offer 30 to choose from. They have some of the same as Bud Plant and many that Bud does not have. Upon closer inspection though, most are very tame. I do like that you can see larger sample pages, but they are stupidly censored. Even a side shot of a women’s derriere gets pixelated.

Mystique has the largest selection we have found, with 45 calendars to choose from. They offer more nudes than anyone, and their picture preview shows you the back of the calendar uncensored, which typically shows all of the pictures in the calendar which you can view in a magnify mode. They even have a Porn 2020 calendar that is explicit. The Mystique X-posed calendars have been coming out every year for more than a decade, featuring the women of Mystique magazine fully nude. Other titles include Hot Girls, Beach Nudes, Hot Ass, and Big Boobs.

The Japanese have their own take on erotic calendars, which are on view on the JList site, where they specialize in Japanese erotica. There are many calendars to choose from. They also have calendars of Anime characters and a calendar devoted to Love Dolls. Their calendars tend to be 23.4 x 16.5 inches.

If your heart is gay, and gay erotic art is your cup of tea, you might want to check out the calendar featuring the art of Michael Breyette. Of course, there is also this year’s Tom of Finland Calendar 2020.

Charitably Nude

The use of the nude calendar to raise money for charity exploded after the success of the nude charity calendar in 2000 by the Rylstone Women’s Institute in England. The story of the making of the calendar was made into a successful feature film, Calendar Girls, in 2003.

Since 2009, one of the hottest charity calendars has featured the Warwick Rowers. They changed their name this year to Worldwide Roar. Featuring members of the Warwick University rowing club in England, it raises money for a number of charities, including one that fights homophobia in sports. The calendar has continued to be an international sensation, featuring young male rowers in prime condition. There is also lots of other interesting content on their site for the appreciators of nude athletic men.

England continues to be the main source of charity nude calendars.

Newcastle University Boat Club has this year’s calendar supporting The Robert Allen Life Promotion and Healthy Heart trust, RALPHH. The charity preserves, promotes and protects the cardiac health of athletes and in particular rowers by providing electro-cardiac testing and defibrillators at sporting locations.

Glasgow Marrow has their Bare Bums 2020 calendar. It raises money for Anthony Nolan, the UK’s leading blood cancer charity.

The Lady Farmer 2020 is a calendar raising money for the Chernobyl Children`s Lifeline charity.

Australia also used to do a lot of charity calendars, but like everywhere else, the fad is fading. Bare for Bales is the annual University of Sydney Veterinary Faculty’s nude calendar. They have raised over $100,000 for charity so far. This year they are raising money for the Black Dog Institute, which works to increase awareness and breaking the stigma of mental health in the workplace.

In the United States, nude charity calendars never caught on as well, and there is very little this year. The Women of Waynesville have their annual WOW Calendar. It features women of all ages and sizes (but all white- this is Waynesville, North Carolina after all).  They support a variety of charities.
