This is a large open space. One of the things we have learned is that people don’t really like playing in big open spaces when they are open and visible to outside spaces, or where people can walk by. We used gold shears hanging from the ceiling to define the space and provide a little more privacy. It is also important that windows are covered, creating a sense of privacy, even if no one can actually see in.
We did not strive for authenticity in our decorations, but this was still a very popular party space. That probably has something to do with the 12 foot by 12 foot play area which can accommodate a surprising number of people.
