I am a big fan of fingertip massagers. This is not a hands free vibrator- your finger becomes a vibrator. This makes it very easy to use and control. This is not waterproof, nor is it intended for internal use.
My very first fingertip massager was from Sharper Image with extenders to all four fingers and it was strong enough to make your fingers vibrate. It was also quite large and bulky with a control box on your wrist. I had great fun trying it on people, and I later used it as part of a sexy and very friendly robot costume.
The Amazon listing describes it as a massager for the temples, legs, back and neck. I am sure it is fine for that, but that is not how we tested it. In our evaluation, although it is not designed for internal use, we found it was much better for gently stimulating nipples, clits, testicles, the perineum and the exterior of the anus. None of these areas were mentioned in the ad listing.
You wear it on your finger like a ring, and the ring is spring loaded and expands open to accommodate any size finer. The Fuzu was designed to be worn against the fingertip, and there are three silicone textured tips you can put on it. One has tiny dots, another has ridges, and the third has a series of concentric circles. However, if you rotate it 180 degrees and over extend your finger backwards a little so that it pushes against the vibe, its buzzy 12,000 vibrations a minute is strong enough to get your finger vibrating.
While the normal position is fun, as the user I prefer having my finger vibrate as I get to feel what I am vibrating. It is strong enough to vibrate the finger on both speeds. One tester found the direct touch of the vibrator a little too strong. The vibration is a little less strong using the finger and may be the solution if you have this experience.
Battery life is fairly typical for a device of this strength and size, so you will go through them. If you plan to use it a lot, you’ll probably want to buy and extra pack of batteries.
There is a tiny little three position slider switch on the side for off and the two speeds. It sticks out far enough to make it easy to slide with your fingertip, even when your finger is slippery with lube, and we had no reports of anyone having difficulty with it.
Don’t confuse this with the “As Seen on TV” Fuzu 6000 Fingertip Massager. The 6000 is a little more expensive, but only does 6,000 vibrations a minute, half the intensity of the regular Fuzu. It is touch activated, which can help with battery life a little, but I think you’ll prefer the regular Fuzu’s more intense vibration.
I found it for under $20 online, which makes it a good deal for a little vibe this strong.
