This is a product we went in with some initial skepticism, and it turned out to be significantly better than we anticipated. There have been many warming products out there over the years, and almost all of them rely on some form of menthol. In our testing over the years, many of these products were just too harsh for their intended purpose of sexual arousal.
The Sensuva line of On arousal products have been around for years, starting with their arousal oil. In 2012, they introduced it in the form of a balm. We tested the newest version, Arousal Gel. Being thicker, it is less messy than an oil, and it is water-based, making it condom safe.
The key is that a little goes a long ways. Using more than one or two drops will probably not make you happy. It is applied directly to the clitoris, not internally. Some people describe it as a buzzing sensation. However, the more common comment we got is that it provides a warming sensation and increased sensation in general. We did not expect quite so much positive feedback, as we have had such lackluster results testing menthol based products.
So, what provides the kick? Something called Cinnamomum Zeylanicum. You know it better under the more common name, Cinnamon. It provides the heat, and they also include Rosemary, which provides some additional scent and
It takes a few minutes to kick in. Once it does, though, it can last up to half an hour. This is not something you have to keep applying, and in fact, that would probably be a bad idea as things could get too intense. A little dab’ll do ya.
It does not taste bad, with cinnamon and rosemary being the strongest flavors. Put a little on your lip and it will create a bit of a buzzy sensation.
Calling this a vibrator in a bottle is a bit of an over-sell. There were different reports describing exactly what the sensation was, and it seems that different people experience it a little differently, but amazingly, it seems to get a positive response from everyone who tries it. Admittedly, we limited testing to those who liked warming sensations. If you do not like a warming sensation, this would not be for you.
Another common report was that it increased focus on the clitoris, which made it easier to focus on the positive sensations of sex. When you are distracted or have difficulty focusing on sex, this might help. The claim that it makes women feel as if they are lubricating more also bears out.
We tested the original arousal gel. They also have a Coffee Cake flavored version, and frankly, with the cinnamon base, they were half way there already. And its not just for breakfast anymore. They also have an Ice version that adds peppermint oil, which can have a cooling effect, so I am not sure how that works with the warming effect.
If you like the idea of a clitoral tingly warming sensation, this is hands down the best product of this type that we have ever tested.
