go to page 1 Production Shows and Hotel Attractions The production shows in the hotels, which have always been so closely linked with Vegas, got very tame. They recently realized that they were losing customers to the strip clubs that were popping up all over. In response, many of the casino shows are getting revamped, and they are creating new sexier shows designed to appeal to couples. The old Standby topless production shows that almost disappeared or completely covered up are also now back in updated form. Bally's- Jubilee! is the classic long running Vegas production show. Long on spectacle (it includes the sinking of the Titanic), it features the topless plumed Vegas showgirls that are a Vegas icon. They offer backstage tours in the afternoon. Flamingo- X Burlesque is an homage to the classic art of Burlesque, set to a contemporary rock, pop, and hip-hop beat.. Luxor- Fantasy features eight attractive dancers who stay topless most of the show, but don't expect anything to push the envelope. MGM Grand- Crazy Horse Paris is based on the show at the famous Crazy Horse in Paris. It is your basic topless women dancing and lip-syncing to recorded music, but is classed up with precision choreography and intricate lighting effects that create kaleidoscopic patterns on the dancers. New York- New York offers a racier version of the many Cirque du Soleil franchises in town. They bill it as a "provocative exhibition of human sensuality, arousal and eroticism." Called Zumanity, the show is in a specially built 1,256 seat theatre and even offers special loveseats for couples. Paris- Ooh La La Topless revue featuring singers, dancers, aerialists, magicians and comedians. Riviera- Crazy Girls is a topless cabaret show that has been around for years. In fact, it is the longest running topless show in Vegas. It features 8 dancers. Stratosphere- Bite has been called "Crazy Girls with fangs", which is not really a compliment. Basically, topless vampires vamp to classic rock and roll tunes. Tropicana has Folies Bergere, a topless show based on the famous French revue show. This is vintage Vegas, with rhinestones and feathers. The theme is the evolution of women from the 1850's to the present.
Productions shows just for women are also quite popular: Rio- Home of the Chippendales show, featuring 12 male dancers. Excalibur- Thunder From Down Under is an Aussie version of Chippendales, featuring guys happy to throw one on the barbie for you, and throw off whatever they are wearing. Riviera- American Storm features 7 hunky men in a trip through American history that bares all. Fashionistas is not exactly in a hotel, but close enough, located in the Krave nightclub right near the Planet Hollywood hotel. This high powered dance show is based on the John Staglianno porn movie of the same name. It features great fetish outfits. You can read our review of the show here. I've always enjoyed the outdoor pyrotechnic spectacle of the Battle of Buccaneer Bay pirate show. For women, it always had a little sexual sizzle with the dashing shirtless pirates. For guys, though, all it offered was a little swash-buckling action and lots of explosions, and nary a pretty lass in sight. That has changed with the revamped Battle of Buccaneer Bay show, now retitled "Sirens of TI." Gone are the perpetually losing British, to be replaced by sexy vamps who take on some lonely sailors. . Beyond shows, the casinos are also considering other ways to make their resorts more of an adult experience. The Palms Casino Resort added bachelor party suites that include a dance pole, and if you don't mind dropping $40,000 a night, you can stay in the 10,0000 square foot Hugh M. Hefner suite. with Playboy artwork, your own private Playboy Bunny logo pool, and Playboy Bunnies in the flesh to serve your drinks. Hooters now has its own hotel and casino. Although it is on the small side, it does have a Hooters restaurant, and great deals on their buffalo wings. Burlesque Burlesque is making a comeback, with several nightspots incorporating a burlesque theme. Pussycat Dolls Lounge- inside Caesars Palace Pure Nightclub Burlesque style strip tease and pop classics. Ivan Kane's 40 Deuce - inside Mandalay Bay Scantily clad lingerie and strip tease. Themed Dining Hawaiian Tropic Zone - inside Planet Hollywood Where you are served by well-tanned ladies in bikinis. Cathouse Loungerie - inside Luxor An ultra-lounge and a restaurant inspired by a 19th century bordello. Live lingerie models, models primp in windows, bartenders and servers in corsets, display cases with vintage bordello artifacts, and peepholes that open up to allow viewing of vintage erotica.
Nightclubs and Bars Coyote Ugly - inside New York, New York Sexy ladies dance on the bar top. Shadow Bar - inside Caesars Palace Smallish bar with backlit sexy dancers so you only see their silhouette. Flirt - inside Rio Designed by women, for women, this is where they gather before the Chippendale's show. Features a sexy all male wait staff. Playboy Club - inside the Palms The world's only Playboy Club, and the first in 25 years. It offers 10,000 square feet, with collage wallpaper featuring every centerfold from the last 25 years. And, of course, you get waited on by Playboy Bunnies. Wake Up If you have been up all night seeing all of these attractions, you just might need a pick me up in the morning. How about a shot of espresso? Or in this case, SexxPresso, where coffee is served by baristas dressed in lingerie. It is just off the strip at 670 E. Flamingo Rd. Page 1: Introduction
